Fair Chance Employment Saves Lives & Strengthens Our Workforce
Fair chance employment has a transformative impact on individuals in recovery and, if broadly adopted by Kentucky businesses, has the potential to strengthen our workforce and economy like never before.
For the first time, through the Kentucky Transformational Employment Program, businesses will have an official roadmap with clear steps to follow when helping current employees find recovery opportunities and when considering new job candidates who are in recovery.
The Kentucky Transformational Employment Program (KTEP), in concert with the many other ongoing, collaborative efforts to help more Kentuckians reach long-term recovery, will make a real difference in the lives of our colleagues, neighbors and loved ones who are struggling with addiction.
